I do hope that new mid engine test meal with GM running around with is a Cadillac. When you think about it it’s kind of makes sense think about their IMSA car.

Loved the Cien on GT4, was incredibly quick

I don’t care what brand it goes to, all I hope is that they don’t call it a Corvette. It isn’t a Corvette. Corvette is that front-engined thing that hangs with mid and rear-engined things for a fraction of the cost. This would be a whole new breed. Don’t get me wrong, it’s going to be awesome and I can’t wait to see it. I just don’t like them taking a name that doesn’t belong.
...it would be really cool if it ended up being a Cady though

I’m with you completely on not calling a mid-engine car a Corvette. While I’m not rigid on the definition of the small-ish warships called corvettes, a Corvette on the road must be a front engine, rear drive 2 seater.

it’ll probably be a Buick.

Your statement basically sums it up

I’d say a mid engined car is the furthest possible design from what a Cadillac is supposed to be. I love the idea of a mid car but it won’t be a caddy.

I would agree with you but now that they got into the racing world I am not so sure anymore.

Yeah, what’s with that? Very strange. What value is there in putting Cadillac in Le Mans?

I kind of agree. I’m not sure who cares. But who knows maybe this is the start of a long prosperous racing heritage.
